Progress
Works continue to progress with the main focus of the period being in the Midthorn area. The settlement in this area is now complete and the construction of the new carriageway has started. Works for the storm water pump station has also started in this area.
Footpath and road construction has continued across the site including kerbing which has allowed for soft landscaping including planting and seeding works to be carried out.
Utility diversion works continue across the site with Scottish Water, BT, SPEN and Virgin media ongoing. Utility diversion works will continue across the site into the next few months.
Road and footpath construction will continue throughout various areas of the site allowing for soft landscaping, planting and seeding to be carried out as available.
Traffic management for the A904 is currently being planned and is likely to be installed in early June to allow construction of the new carriageway to continue.
The current pedestrian diversion route remains unchanged, please continue to use the provided diversion route.
