In this period a key milestone was reached when traffic was switched on to the new A9 carriageway from Westfield roundabout towards Etna. This allows works to start on the new Southound carriageway.
Works continued on the approach to the new Westmains roundabout from the Midthorn area and to the new Westmains roundbaout, constructing new drainage and carriageway and completing kerbing on the new roundabout and the Eastbound approach.
Construction of the new carriageway from Middlefield towards Westfield continued with plans to construct the newly aligned entrance into Forth Valley College early in January 2026.
Footpath surfacing continued throughout the project.
Utility diversions continued in the period with the remaining diversions planned to be complete in January 2026.
