Works have continue in various areas across the project in the last period.
The construction of the Alexander Avenue link road has continued with the final surfacing due to be complete in March.
Works to construct the new carriageway from Westfield to Etna along the A9 Northbound has continued in the period including the construction of the new Gateway roundabout. Works include the installation of drainage and kerbing.
The construction of a new footpath into Falkirk stadium has commenced in the period to the south of Westfield roundabout.
The installation of infrastructure for utility diversions has continued throughout the site. Utility diversions have continued in and around the site with some diversion works now complete.
Works have commenced in the area of the new Westmains roundabout. Band drain installation is planned in March and this will see the commencement of the final area required to undergo 6 months settlement on the project.
There is no change to the traffic management or pedestrian diversion route. Please follow the pedestrian diversion signage for safe walking routes around the works areas.
