Progress
Utility diversion works are key to the progress of the project and numerous diversions have progressed over the last month. 10 of 15 utility diversions have been successfully complete with the remaining 5 in progress.
The works on the A9 Northbound to the North and South of Westfield roundabout have continued with final surfacing to areas being planned. Street lighting and Traffic signal infra structure has been installed. Kerbing has been completed and verges have been topsoiled and await seeding.
Similar works have continued in the Midthorn area with new carriageway and footpaths now being prepared for surfacing.
The successful diversion of a number of utilities is key to completing these areas and carrying out surfacing works.
The North tie in of the A9 new carriageway into the existing is being planned for completion in the coming months. Revised traffic management will be required to facilitate these works.
The current diversion routes remain unchanged, please continue to use the provided signed diversion routes.
